Pazhassi Raja Shifted To Ramzan


Mammootty's magnum opus historical ‘Pazhassi Raja’ will once again shift its original release dates.


The movie will now get into theatres only by the Ramzan season. The movie which was earlier planned for August 15 was rescheduled as Mammootty's two releases ‘Pattanathil Bhootham’ and ‘Daddy Cool’ will release only in the months of June and July.


Since ‘Pazhassi Raja’ is a big budgeted movie, the makers feel that it needs at least two months gap from Mammootty's earlier releases, to receive a great opening.


‘Pazhassi Raja’ directed by Hariharan in the scripts of M T Vasudevan Nair, is produced and distributed by Gokulam Gopalam in the banner of Gokulam films.

Jagadheesh to direct Mammootty

Comic hero and supporting star Jagadheesh, is again to his ever time high in popularity, after the recent super hit - To Harihar Nagar. But the latest news is that, he is all set to call the shots to super star Mammootty in a short while.
His debut feature as a director will feature the super star as the hero. The initial works including the scripting for this movie is on at the capital city. News is that Jagadheesh who had been a co writer to many hilarious comedies of the eighties, will script the movie himself. This untitled project to be produced by Ajayachandran Nair, will be one of the prestigious projects of Mammootty in the first half of 2010

Rajinikanth's Sultan The Warrior Exclusive Stills

Rajini has never looked this good. Muscular, well built and sporting a six pack, the Sultan truly looks a million bucks. And so does Rahul Dev, who plays a dancer in Soundarya Rajinikanth’s ‘Sultan The Warrior’, looks equally stunning, as one can observe in these exclusive stills from Sultan. Rahul Dev plays a baddie in this film, which is set in the Chola Era.


The film is a first-of-its-kind project, directed and produced by Rajini’s second daughter, Soundarya Rajinikanth. Vijayalakshmi plays his love interest in the film, which is a 2009 release.
